Ciao! I’m Emma. With over seven years of experience leading strategy, operations, and program management, I’ve honed the ability to translate big-picture visions into practical execution. I take a people-first approach to supporting founders, launching initiatives, and building portfolios, and I have been fortunate to collaborate with exceptional individuals and organizations along the way. Launching this firm has given me the chance to work closely with trusted friends, valued mentors, and inspiring new clients from impact-driven organizations.

I am currently the Manager of Programs & Operations at Renaissance Philanthropy, and leverage Cappiello Consulting LLC when colleagues need ad-hoc support on their initiatives and companies.

Previously, I served as a Manager and Special Advisor at Schmidt Futures, where I was Chief of Staff to the Vice President. In this role, I oversaw a $110 million portfolio encompassing over 10 programs, two cross-functional teams, and 75+ team members. With Fellowships at the core of my work, I previously assisted in the development, management, and launch of both the Summit Fellows program and Summit Impact a 501c3 Nonprofit, supporting over 100+ entrepreneurs from 25+ countries.  

I enable teams to embrace experimentation and iteration, ensuring that failure is valued as a learning opportunity and success is celebrated as a worthy risk. I love to build teams, and my approach helps up-level team performance.

I’m always keen to activate my network for others and I’m committed to fostering collaboration – serving as a waterway to connect individuals to the resources, information, and individuals they need to advance their work.
