Ciao! I’m Emma. With 7+ years of experience leading strategy, operations, and program management, I’ve honed the ability to translate big-picture visions into practical execution. I take a people-first approach to supporting founders, launching initiatives, and building portfolios, and I have been fortunate to collaborate with exceptional individuals and organizations along the way. Launching this firm has given me the chance to work closely with trusted friends, valued mentors, and inspiring new clients from impact-driven organizations.

I currently lead the Global AI Portfolio at the Rockefeller Foundation, and leverage Cappiello Consulting LLC when colleagues need ad-hoc support on their initiatives and companies. 

Prior to joining the Rockefeller Foundation, I was Manager of Programs & Operations at Renaissance Philanthropy, where I helped scale the organization from 11 to 80+ team members. I built the core infrastructure and designed programs for the central organization and a network of 40+ affiliated funds and initiatives. I also served as a Manager and Special Advisor at Schmidt Futures, acting as Chief of Staff to the Vice President. I oversaw a $110M portfolio spanning 10+ programs, two cross-functional teams, and 75+ team members. My work centered on fellowships, building on my earlier experience supporting the development and launch of Summit Fellows and Summit Impact, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit backing 100+ entrepreneurs across 25+ countries.

I enable teams to embrace experimentation and iteration, ensuring that failure is valued as a learning opportunity and success is celebrated as a worthy risk. I love to build teams, and my approach helps uplevel overall team performance.
